Snap Poll Reports
ABPM "Snap Polls" are quick surveys addressing questions the ABPM team consistently hears from members. The polls ask three questions at most. Members have two weeks to answer and the results are summarized and posted on the ABPM Resource Library (member access only). Members are asked for name and company, but that information is not shared in the report. The purpose of that question is to make sure we don't count an answer several times if multiple people who work for the same program respond.
Twenty-seventh Annual Multi-Client Study Presentation
The findings from the twenty-fifth Multi-Client Research Study on the "Role of Executive Briefings," conducted jointly by independent research firm Decision Analyst and ABPM, offer compelling evidence about the value of executive briefings. Over more than 25 years, 11,100 external customers and 7,500 internal customers have been surveyed. Key findings from these interviews confirm that executive briefings: foster customer satisfaction and loyalty, strengthen business relationships, influence the decision to purchase, increase the amount purchased and shorten the sales cycle. Further, for over twenty-five years, customers have said that Executive Briefings are the preferred method (when compared to seminars, conferences and trade shows, for example) for obtaining information on which to base their business decisions. The Powerpoint presentation of the 27th Annual Multi-Client Study, aggregate data, provides all of the slides necessary to prepare your executive presentation. Cull the slides that are most meaningful for your audience, call us with questions if needed, and you'll be all set to communicate the quantified value of Executive Briefing Programs. The Executive Summary detailing trends and observations is included.

2015 Compensation Survey for Briefing Professionals
Often corporate HR departments attempt to compare briefing positions with other corporate roles, which do not map to the actual roles/responsibilities of a briefing professional. This survey was intended to provide salary data for 5 types of briefing positions (Program Managers, Center Managers, Briefing Consultants, Briefing Coordinators, and Technical or Marketing Consultants) across 4 regions (Central US, West Coast US, East Coast US, and Europe). 141 briefing professionals (13% completion rate) participated in the study. ABPM issued a Compensation Survey for Briefing Professionals in 2017, but did not receive enough responses for a report. We will attempt another survey in 2018. If you receive an invitation to participate, please complete the short survey!

2016 Briefing Center Staffing Survey
The research effort for the 2016 Staffing Survey for Executive Briefing Centers was undertaken in response to the expressed needs of briefing program managers wanting insights into staffing levels as they establish new programs, grow existing Centers, and/or expand regionally. Data was collected in November and December, 2015. Twenty nine companies participated, representing 23 headquarters Centers and 18 regional Centers. Seven of these Centers were outside the U.S. Survey respondents completed an electronic survey detailing briefing volumes, staff positions, headcount levels, and workloads by event type.
