Experience & Demonstration Manager - Herndon, VA
Poly is seeking a Customer Experience and Demonstration Manager to join our Experience & Demonstration team.  As the Customer Experience and Demonstration Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of world class demonstrations and experience for our customers and partners from the Poly Experience Center (PEC) at Poly’s location in Herndon, Virginia. 
In this role you will ensure that the goals and objectives of each visit to the PEC are exceeded by having well planned and perfectly executed experiences.  You will play a key part in the planning, organization, and facilitation of each experience on site and for remote customers while tasked with conducting most, if not all, technical demonstrations.  You will be given the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of Poly’s messaging, product offering and roadmap.  You will become well versed with our established video environment, collaboration and configurations, as well as the ability to discuss and demonstrate those products configurations with interested customers, partners, press and analysts.
The Herndon PEC hosts a mix of Enterprise customers as well as Global Partners, Analysts, Investors and more.  Your ability as the Customer Experience and Demonstration Manager to adapt to all types of customers and audiences is therefore key.  You will also need to possess the skills to build strong relationships with the local sales team thereby enabling a continued flow of new customers and partners through the Herndon facility.

Requirements What You’ll Do…
  • Facilitation of high-level Briefings to include management of objectives, agenda, presenters and action items through the session.
  • Perform technical demonstrations on site and to a remote audience via video in a professional manner, encouraging customer interaction, while ensuring the timeline is respected.
  • Interface with Sales and SE organizations to craft and execute customized agendas for each of our visitors to the Poly Experience Center to ensure objectives and messaging is in line with the customer’s goals.
  • Creatively develop new ways of demonstrating specific solutions in specific context be they vertical based or scenario based.
  • Interact with both external and internal customers (Sales and Sales Engineers) with openness and flexibility while ensuring the experience processes are respected and the appropriate equipment and resources are provided to achieve a successful demonstration.
  • Incorporate both active listening and flexibility to ensure a personalized and targeted experience for our internal and external customers alike.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking using the provide tools and applications

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years’ experience as an Experience Manager, and/or in the Video or Telecom Industry

  • You speak a second language
  • You’ve had previous technical training/demonstration experience and/or familiarity with ABPM best practices.
