Program Manager, Executive Briefing Center

The Senior Briefing Program Manager role is integral in fostering a great relationship between executives, account teams & product/technical experts to deliver a best-in-class executive customer experience.  This position will require strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills and the ability to communicate and work with executive management, sales management and other critical organizations to ensure the success of these meetings and Cohesity’s top customers in this dynamic & fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities:
  • Actively facilitate meeting on the day of the briefing, including kick off, objective setting, speaker transition, note taking, action items, wrap up
  • Evaluate briefing requests based on sales impact, revenue potential, level of attendees, market segmentation, stage in sales cycle, etc
  • Collaborate with sales teams in managing the full planning and execution of executive briefings to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Organize and lead briefing planning calls, make recommendations on best solutions and agenda to meet and exceed sales and customer objectives
  • Recommend subject matter experts and executives for each using knowledge base of speaker strengths and areas of expertise
  • Schedule and confirm subject matter experts and executives for each briefing
  • Lead pre-briefing planning calls with the sales team and all confirmed subject matter experts once they have been confirmed
  • Engage, manage, and develop positive and collaborative relationships with internal resources and subject matter experts across various organizations
  • Capture Voice of the Customer information and work with EBC Director on using this information to inform larger corporate initiatives
  • Manage all logistics for each briefing including agendas, gifts, evals, etc. (when in person EBCs resume, also includes the following: badges, name plates, catering, transportation)
  • Troubleshoot issues that may come up throughout the briefing
  • Provide feedback to discussion leaders re: content and delivery and to sales team
  • Conduct follow-??up on each briefing, gathering account manager and customer feedback, identifying post-briefing opportunities, report on conclusions and suggestions
  • Populate and keep briefing management system up to date to reflect agenda and attendee updates
  • Launch and assist EBC Director in managing new briefing management system to global sales organization, product management and product marketing
  • Launch and assist EBC Director in managing new EBC Customer Portal
  • Assist EBC Director in launch and management of Executive Sponsor Program 
  • Collaborate with EBC Director, Product Management and Product Marketing teams on implementing a Discussion Leader Presentation Skills program
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing and Customer Marketing colleagues in EBCs on the Road (virtual, hybrid, in-person) User Groups, eventual User Conference EBC-related activities
  • Continuously drive process improvements for the EBC program                                                                                                                
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • BS/BA+ Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field or equivalent relevant experience in previous EBC roles
  • Excellent presentation skills in customer and executive scenarios required
  • Ability to facilitate and channel group discussions into constructive exchanges that lead to concrete, satisfactory solutions for all stakeholders
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to be clear, concise, and respectful in communications with executives and worldwide account teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills; this role requires orchestrating many diverse elements and a critical attention to deadlines and timing
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Prior experience with Executive Briefing Center Programs, Executive Sponsorship Programs or similar preferred
  • High commitment to providing excellent customer satisfaction and experience
  • Operates as an agile self-starter; able to work independently to manage diverse workload and coordinate with multiple team members for direction on a daily basis
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite solutions
  • Familiarity with Briefing Program Management Software is a big plus
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization (executive management, business units, etc.) and to gain the trust and confidence of others.
