The Technical Evangelist will be responsible for providing technical management and demonstrations for all of Citrix solutions at the state-of-the-art Citrix Experience Center in Santa Clara, California as well as virtually. In this role, the individual will engage with executives from our most strategic customers and partners and show what a day in the life of using Citrix technology looks like and further, what business value these solutions provide to modern IT organizations. This individual will also help build and guide future demonstrations for the worldwide Experience Centers.


This is a highly collaborative role and will require close collaboration Citrix cross-functional teams (Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Development, Sales Engineering, and Sales) and industry organizations to convey the business value and messaging through demonstrations.


The candidate must be a self-starter, be able to deliver effective demonstrations in front of strategic customers, prospects, and partners.


Primary Duties / Responsibilities

- Evangelizes Citrix solutions to customers, prospects, and partners.
- Delivery of technical presentations and solution demonstrations on Citrix solutions value proposition.
- Ensure successful execution of all demonstrations.
- Builds, maintains, and prepares demo environment based on use cases and solutions.
- Assists with the installations, configures technologies and solutions, and maintains Executive Briefing Center solutions center hardware and software.
- Assists with the integration of new systems into existing configurations.
- Documents installation and operational aspects of new technology demonstrations.
- Assists with Citrix Events both internal and external, as well as other key trade shows.
- Helps support AV in demo and briefing rooms.

Requirements Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Experience and hands-on knowledge with Citrix products preferred.
- Technical aptitude with understanding of product architecture and configuration as well as industry expertise.
- Understanding of virtualization technology, products, and services.
- Customer experience in pre-sales and/or post-sales situations.
- Experience presenting to wide ranging audiences, webinars, trainings, customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong work ethic, customer orientation, attitude, and follow through ability.

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in similar environment.
- 3+ years experience in a technical industry, preferably in a role such as sales engineer or similar
- Strong mix of interpersonal and technical skills, particularly in Virtualization, Mobility and Networking.
- Strong working knowledge of Citrix and/or Microsoft products
- Previous experience of working within an Executive Briefing Center a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer-facing experience.
- Ability to travel in Americas to Citrix facilities for corporate meetings and events or industry shows.
