Microsoft Global Envisioning Specialist Manager (Redmond, WA based)

Come join the Customer Engagement Team as the next Global Envisioning Specialist Manager.

  • Manage, coach, and care a team of four direct reports at the Executive Briefing Center and Industry Experience Center in Redmond, and supporting role excellence, best practices, onboarding, training and coaching for our globally distributed Envisioning Specialist teams in Singapore, Munich, Atlanta, and Silicon Valley.
  • Serve as “player/coach” with 50% of your time dedicated to delivering demos and/or briefings in-person at the Executive Briefing Center and/or Industry Experience Center.
  • Inspire and instill confidence in customer audiences by establishing best practices for a wide range of solution area capability demos, industry demos, and customer success demos.
  • Share expertise to evangelize highly complex customer engagement delivery programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain buy in.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to demonstrate the value of the CET Immersive Experience program and show business impact.
  • Manage the deployment of new technology experiences in the Center in partnership with the Immersive Experiences lead, and the general operation and performance of demos and experiences in partnership with the technology operations team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in customer delivery and demo build, providing guidance and expertise to our global CET locations.
  • Partner with Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) Technical Architects on understanding offerings and activities for getting customers to “next-best action”
  • Lead documentation and scripting standards and best practices for ES-assigned demos and experiences; materials include scripts, training videos, and other documentation for consumption by other CET facilities around the world.
  • Periodic international and domestic travel to other CET locations (Munich, Singapore, Atlanta, etc.) as needed/approved.
  • Identify trends, business needs, challenges, and feedback from customer engagements; provide feedback on existing experiences and ongoing ideas for potential new experiences to be developed.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Operations, or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in enterprise sales, marketing, and/or business development, including experience engaging directly with customers and account teams.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' people management experience.
  • Experience presenting to large (20+ people) audiences and/or internal / external senior executives in person.
  • Experience creating scripts, key talking points, and other documentation to support demo or experience delivery.
  • Experience delivering solution and product demos to customers.
