Position Description
The Director, Executive Engagement will develop the strategy, get broad stakeholder buy-in and then operationalize the program, as a part of a wider Account Based Marketing strategy. This will start with identifying a best-in-class engagement framework that brings the “best of the Mountain,” inclusive of the Senior Executive Leadership team, Sales, Technologists, Innovation team, Industry Experts and Marketing. Also, a staffing and RACI model across new and to-be-hired employees to build out content and launch the program. On a parallel path, the Director will work with external experiential design consultants and Iron Mountain’s real estate team to ideate, build and open a flagship Executive Experience Center in the USA. This includes a staffing, technology and operational model to ensure our customers have a world-class experience from the time of invitation through any post-engagement commercial
activities or follow up. As the program evolves, our strategic intent is to open additional centers in key locations around the world for the program to achieve global scale and impact.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee program development from ideation to execution…through growth and expansion.
- Oversee and evolve our meeting/engagement delivery strategy and offering portfolio, including virtual, at client sites, at customer events and eventually at a customer-built innovation center facility
- Collaborate and align with multiple stakeholders on capacity, metrics, overlapping processes, and stakeholder engagement and communications
- Develop and publish program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and outcomes in support of Iron Mountain business objectives
- Hire personnel to support and operationalize the program
- Work with internal teams and agencies to develop engaging and immersive storytelling content (e.g., digital, AR/VR) that brings Iron Mountain’s technology to life
- Maximize content investments for use with executive audiences across program engagements, in-person, virtually and at events
- Partner with other Global Industries (Strategic Accounts) and large North American Enterprise Region sales teams to identify and engage top clients for proactive program inclusion
- Collaboratively, report out marketing results, gaps, and opportunities for growth

Requirements |
Required Experience/Skills
- Proven experience designing and delivering high impact C-level executive briefings and experiences (5-7 years minimum)
- Experience building and/or operating Executive Innovation or Briefing Center(s), including building and managing the teams and processes that make them successful
- Commitment to exceptional customer experience and a strong track record of delivering internal and external customer success
- Inspiring, inclusive, and people-centered leadership
- Ability to craft a strategy, clearly articulate steps, align the team, track to execution deadlines, and report out on results
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influencing skills up the organization and across your team
- Strategic mindset and highly consultative approach to partnering with internal and external teams
- Ability to quickly adapt to frequent change and to handle multiple complex projects at once
