Executive Briefing Manager, Japan

Zoom is launching an Experience Hub in the heart of Tokyo, Japan to enhance customer and partner relationships, accelerate business growth, and establish loyalty amongst our customer base.

The Executive Briefing Manager is a trusted technical advisor who will be responsible for planning each customer/partner visit, providing on-site product demonstrations and event logistic support for customers and partners at the Tokyo Experience Hub (EBC). 
This role is a part of the Global Executive Briefing Team, and you will leverage your technical solution knowledge to showcase the Zoom platform to our Enterprise customers and partners. Key responsibilities also include developing and planning of agenda for each visit and supporting logistics prior and on the day of the executive briefing.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, requiring minimal supervision and direction, and comfortable with collaborating with cross-functional groups across technical sales and solution architect, solution engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams.

  • 8+ years of technical experience in Collaboration technologies
  • 8+ years in a product/solutions marketing team or customer-facing technical role required 
  • Possess a work permit to work in Japan
  • Experience within the UCaaS industry preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills 
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to evaluate complex processes and apply critical-thinking skills & develop new systems
  • The successful candidate will also possess a business background that enables them to drive engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with solution architects and engineers.
  • Demonstrates energy and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills in Japanese and English 
  • Ability to adapt, open to learning new things, and work in fast-paced and changing environments
  • This role requires the candidate to be comfortable being onsite at the Tokyo office for the majority of the time
