Customer Briefing Manager
The opportunity
Customer Briefings are a strategic sales tool that help progress deals through the sales pipeline, grow and expand opportunities, and build strategic relationships with executives and key stakeholders. Briefings also provide invaluable customer insights that can be critical in driving future strategies and solutions.
 
As an Adobe Customer Briefing Manager, you will deliver world-class experiences that enhance customer and partner relationships, drive business growth, and reinforce Adobe’s Brand. You will work closely with Sales, as a strategic partner and advisor, to build customized, 1:1 briefing engagements for our most important accounts. Customer Briefings are executed at Adobe’s Customer Experience Center (CEC), a dedicated, branded facility, located at Adobe headquarters in San Jose. This position is vendor managed.

Requirements What you’ll do
  • Develop and manage customized, strategic customer briefings based on a combination of account discovery, sales objectives, customer objectives, and knowledge of Adobe’s strategic solutions.
  • Design strategic and customized agendas aimed at meeting stated briefing objectives and influence deal progression.
  • Identify and secure relevant subject matter experts and discussion leaders who will deliver customized content and lead strategic conversations; identify appropriate level executive engagement.
  • Lead pre-briefing calls with discussion leaders and sales team to facilitate information exchange about the account, opportunity, and objectives, and identify key messaging/content for each speaker.
  • Provide active end-to-end management of briefing and on-going communications with sales teams, executives, speakers, and customers, to ensure a successful planning process.
  • Co-host the briefing with the account team to ensure flawless briefing execution.
  • Capture voice of the customer insights and action items and provide post-briefing report.
  • Evangelize the value of the Customer Briefing Program and related services to sales account teams and sales leadership, describing the role in the sales cycle and explaining engagement rules and desired outcomes.
 
What you need to be successful.
  • Successful candidates should possess 5+ years of pertinent customer briefing experience within a high-tech briefing program.
  • The ability to closely collaborate with sales, to deliver exceptional customer briefing experiences.
  • Working knowledge of industry and customer segments, practices, tactics, and tools.
  • Must be a team player, highly dependable, creative, engaged, problem-solver, and committed to Adobe’s success.
  • Desire to learn and maintain a strong working knowledge of Adobe’s strategy, products, and solutions.
  • Ability to interface effectively and professionally, and drive collaboration, with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity in using a customer briefing application and ability to follow processes to ensure a consistent experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and proven attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • General computer skills required with knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
