Briefing Program Manager & Facilitator

We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Briefing Center Briefing Program Manager to join our global EBC team at our brand-new flagship briefing center at our corporate headquarters on Santana Row in San Jose, CA (Grand Opening Nov. 2024!). As an Executive Briefing Center Briefing Program Manager, you serve as the main conduit to our international sales teams to help their customers explore how NetApp can help solve their business and infrastructure challenges to deliver outcomes that align with the corporate and IT initiatives and strategies. The role of the EBC Briefing Program Manager is to deliver an unparalleled customer experience through engaged conversations with our leading subject matter experts and executive team to our customers. You are responsible for managing and facilitating successful in-person, virtual, and hybrid customer engagements as the customers invest their time to better understand how NetApp address their business challenges and strategic initiatives. Being in a highly visible role requires you to demonstrate an elevated level of professionalism daily, and be a team-player with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with internal and external clients. Excellent communication with our global sales teams, executive stakeholders, and strategic partners is required while demonstrating knowledge of our expanding portfolio to better advocate on both the account team’s and customer’s behalf.

o Lead the complete planning process beginning to end for customer briefings and engagements.
o Act as consultant to the account manager from initial briefing request to create agenda, and source appropriate discussion leaders (including executives) based on the shared objectives of both the account team and the customer.
o Manage prep and planning calls with the account team and discussion leaders to ensure discussion leaders understand overall briefing objectives.
o Fully facilitate each briefing, to include but not limited to Welcome and Introductions, the customer’s Business Insights / Voice of the Customer, transitions between each session, interjections as necessary, and finally the closing to ensure to ensure all the customer’s objectives were met and challenges understood.
o Conduct follow-up on each briefing, gathering account manager and customer feedback, identifying post-briefing opportunities, report on conclusions and suggestions.
o Build and maintain relationships with sales team, product manager, executives and executive admins regarding processes and procedures to execute successful briefings. Must have proven success in building relationships at all levels of the organization.
o Work with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and other areas of the company to create, plan and execute customized briefings.

o Collaborate with EBC peers on cross-functional projects to maintain the world-class briefing experience we continue to provide and achieve.
o Provide feedback to discussion leaders re: content and delivery and to sales team.
o Demonstrate problem solving and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
o Learn to have the ability to present the corporate overview, demonstrations, or other selected agenda items in briefings as necessary. Learn to become a storyteller.
o Populate and keep the briefing management system up to date to reflect agenda changes.
o Manage special projects as assigned. o Consult with and coach account managers on successful briefing execution practices.
o Maintain an understanding, knowledge of and technical aptitude for new product and portfolio developments through continued education and learning to be able to facilitate conversations throughout each briefing.
