Virtual Workshop Series Day 3 Logistics
ABPM 2020 Virtual Fall Workshop Series
Wednesday, October 21st Logistics
We hope you enjoyed the second day of the ABPM Virtual Fall Workshop Series! You'll find information below that will help day 3 go smoothly for you.
All workshop times in this final Conference Agenda are posted in CENTRAL TIME. Please take a moment to note how those posted times convert to your local time zone so you don’t miss workshops you’d like to attend live. You can do that by using this link to convert Central Time to your local time.
Wednesday is the second of three Workshop days. Live Workshops will be held from 10am – Noon Central Time on these days and will be focused on blending career development with an emphasis on working together to elevate virtual briefings and examine your challenges and opportunities in this extraordinary time. To attend a workshop, login to the virtual venue, and click on the workshop you've registered for to be placed in the zoom waiting room. You will be admitted when the workshop begins at 10am CT.
If you’ve forgotten what workshops you signed up for, look for your registration confirmation email or the final details email sent from email@example.com on October 12th. That email has a spreadsheet attached and the workshops you chose are listed to the right of your name. If you can't find either email, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org to request that we resend your confirmation and we'll respond as quickly as possible.
Workshops will be recorded and available on-demand starting on Monday, October 26th within the conference platform to registrants with credentials through November 30th. The recordings will not be shared outside of the conference platform.
If you attend a Core Competency or Advanced Competency workshop live and actively participate, you will automatically get credit for completing that workshop. Then starting Monday, October 26th, you can come back to the virtual venue and enter the “Recordings & Quizzes” room to watch any session, and take quizzes to get credit for the workshops you didn’t attend live. There will be questions that are related only to that recording so you will need to watch the recordings before taking the associated quiz. There are 6 CCC courses and 4 ACC courses available through November 30th so you could make significant progress toward completing your core and/or advanced competency curriculum if you ration your time through November 30th.
There's even more opportunity for Networking in the "Common Grounds Coffee Shop". After your workshop ends, head to the Common Grounds Coffee Shop from 12:15 – 1:15 pm CT. Each day has a different theme. On Wednesday, join a high-interest topic Zoom conversation room. Choose the table (room) you’ll join by clicking on the appropriate sign or coffee table. On Thursday, click the ‘Hang Out & Chat’ sign where we’ll draw for prizes from the live Sponsor Showcase and say our farewells. You can find a schedule of Networking Times on the sign in the Coffee Shop and, of course, in the PDF agenda.
And Don't Miss..
The Sponsor Showcase Hall will be open throughout the conference! Sposnor booths offer valuable information about their solutions for your briefing program. You can contact each Sponsor via email by clicking the 'Talk with/Connect with/Chat with Us' button in their booth. And, if you participated in the Live Sponsor Showcase on Monday, don't forget to come to the Common Grounds Coffee Shop on Thursday at 12:30 CT to hear the live prize drawings!
The Center Tour Gallery room features three member briefing centers — most in areas of the world that ABPM conferences typically don’t get to. Simply enter the Center Tour Gallery from the lobby and click on a logo to view the video tour. New this conference: Join your Center Gallery hosts, live, on the Wednesday, October 21st in the Common Grounds Coffee Shop from 12:15 - 1:15 PM CT. Center Hosts will be live and ready to answer your questions and share more about their programs including what they are doing during the COVID crisis. We encourage you to watch the Center Tours prior to this networking session.
